PISA and equity change: a scoping review

Promoting equity has been and still is a fundamental challenge for educational systems around the world. While PISA stated goal of sharing information guidance to shape national policies achieving greater socio-economic equity, its actual role outcomes program are subject much debate. This paper presents scoping review available literature that focuses on relationship between implementation (socio-economic educational) change. twofold, including both (i) quantitative research aimed at gauging changes in indicators using datasets, as well (ii) qualitative discusses PISA’s impact equity. Major databases were systematically searched, yielding 1180 hits. After independent assessment by different judges, total 51 articles met criteria inclusion, 27 which 34 quantitative. Analysis presented separately, tabular narrative form, allowing amount, nature, scope related gaps.
